Katherine Pogson, tutor and founder of Designer Courses, was delighted to become a Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust scholar earlier this year, and collected her award at a luncheon hled by the Royal Warrant Holder’s Association at the Hilton Hotel in June.
Katherine is using her scholarship to attend a series of
courses in computer aided design for fashion and textiles at the Central Saint Martin’s University of the Arts in London and with greater fluency of technology she will be able to utilise aspects, such as laser cutting and digital printing as a primary creative tool to enrich and feed directly back into her hand-made work and thus further extend her range of bespoke leather products.

Practical short courses in contemporary leather, handbags and fashion accessories design, taught at her Central London studio by Katherine Pogson.
