DESCRIPTION:This summer, Designer Courses kicks off with two short and snappy introductory days exploring the techniques of making leather fashion accessories and handbags, followed by a comprehensive five day course taking you through the elements of making a structured leather bag. You will compile examples of handle, zip and pocket constructions, practise a variety of sewing techniques and seam constructions for leather,  and go on to make up your own leather bag step by step.        Introduction to leather accessories: Fashion belts & cuffs. Monday 30 July, 10am – 5pm, £145.00 inclusive.    Introduction to fashion bags: Frame purses and clutches. Tuesday 31 July, 10am – 5pm, £145.00 inclusive.    Bag School: make a structured bag. Wednesday 1 – Sunday 5 August, 10am – 5pm, £695.00 inclusive.    Book all seven days and save £150.00!
