Granny never taught you how to crochet? Don't worry! Rose Sharp Jones is here to show you how, with her short and funky introductory course.

Learn how to make lacy flowers, circular brooches and summer bracelets in order to master the basic stitches, then go on to develop these into projects for small bags, cushions and other accessories - you'll be an expert by Christmas!

Rose will take you step-by-step through the essentials, and you will learn to:

• Choose hook and yarn sizes, create a basic chain, master double and treble crochet stitches
• Alternate stitches to create texture and pattern
• Change colour, and use multiple colours
• Interpret a crochet pattern and symbols
• How to increase, make circles and more
• Combine different stitches and chains to create patterns and motifs

Rose is a textile designer who creates distinctive jewellery, scarves and home textiles, using a mixture of knitting, crochet and print.

Dates: 3 Wednesdays, 21 July- 4 August,
6.30pm- 9.00pm
Cost: £175.00, including materials*

*Each student will receive their own crochet hook, tapestry needle and information pack to take away, and materials to the value of £15.
