A fun-packed and creative weekend course led by experienced textile artist Patricia Hopewell.
Learn to manipulate coloured fleece, fibres and yarns to make felted cushions and hangings, and how to form decorative accessories including brooches and jewellery.

Pat will also introduce you to the 'nuno' felting technique, a fascinating way of applying delicate felt strands to fine fabrics to create scrunched, pleated and patterned scarves which retain their gauzy nature! This course has a strong focus on decorative elements such as flowers, leaves, and felt beads, and incorporates embellishing techniques including beading and embroidery.

Patricia is a textile artist and weaver, who works frequently with communities in Nepal.
