Katherine Pogson is a designer-maker creating bespoke leather accessories for fashion and interiors. Katherine set up her studio in 2000, after completing an MA at the Royal College of Art, and specialises in decorative and construction techniques for leather, as well as pattern-cutting.
Clients have included: Trussardi, Milan, Donna Karan New York, Mulberry Home, Hussein Chalayan, Priestman Goode.
Designer Courses was set up by Katherine in 2005 to provide short practical courses and hands-on training in contemporary craft and design.
Katherine is the author of Complete Leatherwork , published by Collins and Brown in 2009.
In 2011, Katherine became a QEST scholar, having been awarded a grant by the Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust and Royal Warrant Holder’s Association to develop her craft skills further.
